KIYO TANAKA
Born in Kanagawa, Japan, in 1972.
Studied oil painting and print making at Tama Art University in Tokyo.
First book published in 1997 "Mizutama no Chihuahua"(Text by Areno Inoue) by Hukuinkan Shoten, Japan. Since then I started my career as an illustrator for Children's books and still continue making print works and showing them at personal exhibitions. My exhibition held in Tokyo (Ginza, Aoyama, Ebisu), and in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara in Japan.
Have joined International group exhibitions:
1995,1996, Bologna illustrators Exhibition at Bologna Fair, (Italy).
2001, 2003, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (Slovakia)
